Oh, this wedding. If anything was meant to be, this was it. Despite thunderstorm forecasts, the rain held off all day and night, much to my amazement and delight!
I am the type of person that cries when the music changes in a movie and there's anything even remotely sentimental happening. I'm just an emotional person, so of course, I most definitely cried during their wedding.
But maybe I cried just a little more.
Maybe it was the way Shelby walked down the isle in all her glory to A Thousand Years by Christina Perri (go ahead, just look at pictures while listening to that song). Or the way Nic looked on excited and teary eyed at his beautiful bride.
Maybe it was the way Shelby squealed her delight as she walked away from the altar as a newlywed. Or the way they laughed and danced with each other all night long.
Maybe it was the best hug I got from Karen as I left for the night or the most amazing Thank You note. I don't know, but this wedding got me.
It was all I had to keep snapping and I can only imagine how the Criscos, Pattersons, and especially Nic were feeling all night (I saw the tears Nic and I don't blame you one bit!).
Congratulations to you both and I don't care if it's weird - I love you guys. At the risk of sounding cheesy, I am 100% honored that you chose me to capture such a magical day.
Ok I'm done. (It doesn't help that I'm listening to sappy love songs while writing this!)
