When this couple contacted me 2 days before they would be in town asking about a last minute elopement session, I could't say no. A Destin Beach elopement is so incredibly beautiful, intimate, and romantic. I was able to capture the essence of who the couple is without any distractions or timelines.

As we waited for the sun to come out and play, we bonded over mutual feelings of ick over Florida humidity, and we chatted and got to know each other. I found out they are pregnant, so BIG congrats to the Wazir family! I am so excited for my amazing clients.

All throughout the session, we had such an amazing variation in lighting and cloud cover from the storm that was over the water. I'm not going to lie, the lightning worried me a bit! We got some amazing pictures as the sky put on a show for us. It was one of the most unique and beautiful backdrops I've had the pleasure of photographing.

As we finished up our session, the sky finally opened up on our Destin beach elopement session, officially ending it, like it had been waiting for us to wrap it up and couldn't hold out any longer. Less like rain and more like God was dumping a bucket of water on us. We made a mad dash back to our cars, giggling all the way!
